TMC Hospitals: a co-operative hospital where care is one click away.
With Voleergo Solutions LLP, I designed the website for Thrikkakara Municipal Co-operative Hospital in Kakkanad, Kochi: every desktop page in Figma, from the home page to departments, doctor profiles, news and contact. Voleergo built the live site, tmchospitals.in, from these designs.

The challenge
Thrikkakara Municipal Co-operative Hospital is a co-operative hospital in Kakkanad, Kochi, with a public mission: modern healthcare for everyone, with a special focus on poor and marginalised communities, and concessional rates for mothers, children, migrant workers and older patients. Its website has to carry a lot: twenty departments, more than twenty facilities, the doctors and their consulting hours, health packages, insurance and the emergency numbers. People arrive unwell or worried. They need to find the right department, the right doctor or the emergency number fast, and see that care here is affordable.
02
Goals
The promise first
The hospital's own line, Speciality Healthcare at Affordable Costs, leads the home page, with Book Appointment right under it.
Find care fast
Departments and doctors as cards with a name, a short line and a photo, so people can scan instead of read.
Answer the first questions
Common questions sit next to the 24/7 emergency number, so the urgent answer is never more than a glance away.
One frame on every page
The same top bar, header, title banner with a breadcrumb, closing call to action and footer on every page.

Design decisions
A hero that states the promise
The headline is the hospital's own line, with Book Appointment and About Us under it. A doctor count, a satisfied patients badge and the Google rating sit around the portrait, so trust shows before the first scroll.
Commitment in three lines
Affordable and inclusive treatment, specialised COVID-19 care and support for public healthcare, each with an icon and two lines, beside photos of patients and staff.
Departments you can scan
Each department is a card: an icon, the name, an arrow, a short line and a photo. The grid reads in seconds and grows as departments are added.
A doctor profile that answers first questions
A photo card with position, phone, email and years of experience, then the doctor's background, experience and areas of expertise, with a form to get in touch below.
Questions, with help beside them
Common questions open one at a time, and a red card beside them carries the 24/7 emergency number.
Contact you can act on
Phone, address and email in three cards on one side, a short form on the other, and the map below.
